Photo 101, Day 10: Mystery

In addition to the photo challenge today’s challenge involves posting this using only phone and tablet. This may be old hat for some of you, but it’s a new game for me. So hang on, let’s go!

Today’s picture theme is “Mystery” and I’ve seen a lot of great story telling shots from many of the other photo 101 participants; A pile of men’s and women’s clothes laying together in a heap upon the floor. Or a picture of a table for two, a glass of wine spilled, napkin thrown hastily into the middle of the half eaten entre…

Great story telling shots arouse the curiosity of the viewer. It draws them deeper into the picture searching for answers to the mystery.

My photo for today is not as dramatic as the themes outlined above but there is something unusual about it. Did it make you do a double take? To look twice? Do you sense something’s amiss but you can’t put your finger on it? Does it leap out at you right away? Perhaps you notice nothing at all?

Curious to know what you think and I would appreciate any comments.

Great photo! I couldn’t tell if I was looking up or down at first! The photo looks completely different when flipped!

  2. I agree with the others that this is a great shot. It makes you stop and think.
